Define Time and Attendance Time Base for Employee

Explanation

This activity is used to set up the employee's time base for IFS/Time and Attendance. The time base controls how the time card transactions (clocking or result) should be generated and managed.

Basically, you can choose to have the transactions automatically generated by the system, or manually entered by the employee. If you select any of the clocking related options, the system will automatically calculate the time card result as soon as there is a complete day that can be calculated.  

Prerequisites

To have any relevance, the employee should be using IFS/Time and Attendance.

Investigate which time base should be used by the employee and then select the appropriate value from the list.
