Link Employee to Increment Schedule

Explanation

This activity is used to connect an employee to an increment schedule. 

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, increment schedules are required to be already defined in the Increment Schedules window.

System Effects

When linked to an increment schedule, the employee's time card result will be calculated with consideration to the increment definitions.

Procedure

  1. Open the Employee Schedules and Rules window.
  2. Query or populate to find an employee for whom an increment schedule is required to be assigned.
  3. In the Increment Schedule Identity field, enter an increment schedule by selecting a value from the list.
  4. Assign employee to an increment shift, either by entering the Increment shift to which the employee belongs or the increment shift which is valid for the employee on the schedule assignment date.
    E.g. : Enter a value in the Increment Shift field or the Increment Shift at Valid From field.
