Asset Procurement Demands refers to the requirement to request for quotations and to purchase the Engineering Register Material Procurement List (ERMPL) demand, also considered the additional parts, for design objects. Once an asset procurement demand is established, procurement can be initiated directly from IFS/Asset Design by creating requests for order quotations and purchase requisitions from the design object for which the additional parts should be procured. It is also possible to manage the asset procurement or material demand within IFS/Asset Design by modifying the planned costs on the ERMPL demand, updating the planned cost from the supplier or latest purchase order, and reserving and issuing to inventory, among others.
