Create Budget Process

Explanation

This activity is used to define the process.

Prerequisites

A currency rate type to be used for budgeting must exist. A complete planning environment must be defined in business performance before its possible to connect to an environment.

Procedure

1. Open Budget Processes window.
2. Click New.
3. Enter a new budget process ID and the budget process description.
4. Select the from and until year period values from the List of Values.
5. Select currency rate type from the List of Values.
6. If required, enter the environment using the List of Values. Note: The budget measure version, target version, scorecard code part and scorecard code part description will automatically be fetched, provided they have been defined in the environment.  
7. Save the scorecard code part.
