Define Code String Setting

Explanation

This activity is used to define the code parts that should be available for budget values in the Budget Template window. It is also possible to have fixed code part values assigned if necessary.   

Prerequisites

Code part values should have been defined. 

System Effects

As a result code part values will be displayed in the Budget Template window.

Procedure

1. Go to Budget Template window.
2. Query or populate the window to view the budget template ID.
3. Enter code parts using the List of Values. Note: Hidden code parts can be viewed by selecting the right mouse button menu option Code String Settings. Selecting the code parts will let the user view the code parts in the Budget Template window. Here, the user can also enter a fixed code part value to be used in the template. These values can be viewed by selecting the View Fixed Code Parts check box.
4. Save.
