Finish Maintenance Order
Explanation
This activity is used to manually finish a maintenance order.
Note: It is also possible to automatically set a
maintenance order to the Finished status. To enable this automatic
status-change you need to select the Automatically Finish Order check box
on the maintenance order. When this check box is selected, the status of the
maintenance order is set automatically to Finished when the last
connected task on the order is set to either the Finished or Cancelled
status.
Prerequisites
- A maintenance order in the Work Done status, where all included tasks are in either the
Work Done
or Finished status, must exist.
- If sign off requirements exist on the
maintenance order and/or connected tasks, sign off must have been performed.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the maintenance order is
finished and moved to history. If an Execution Logic
Structure (ELS) has been created for the maintenance order, this ELS will be
removed when the maintenance order is finished.
