Connect Design Object to MC Package
Explanation
This activity is used to connect all relevant design objects within a MC
package. See About Mechanical Completion and Commissioning for more
information.
The design objects are connected to the MC Package by using the MC Package
Consists of connection type. Since this activity is performed towards the end
of the Asset Engineering phase, the design objects can be considered equipment
objects at this stage. The IFS/Component Specification will later use these MC
package design objects for generating a MC Package specification.
Prerequisites
- The design object class for the MC Package should be defined with the
MC Package Consists of class relation and the design object class of the
design object being connected to the Mc Package should be defined with the
can be included in MC Package class relation.
- A MC Package needs to be created.
