Add Contract Deduction

Explanation

Use this activity to add contract deductions. Contract deductions are definable deductions that will affect the financial aspect of the contract.

Example: In the UK there is a deduction called CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) levy where members pay a percentage of revenue to this organization.

Prerequisites

Contract must exist.

Procedure

  1. Open the Sales Contract window and click the Deduction tab.
  2. Insert a new line.
  3. Enter a deduction type. Use List of values to select defined deductions.
  4. If required, enter a deduction report code. Select the appropriate option from the List of values.
  5. Save.
