Connect Documents To Tender
Explanation
Use this activity to connect tender documents. Once a
tender document is created, it should be connected to the contract.
Depending on the requirements, tender documents can be connected in the
Sales
Contract window or
Sales Contract/Customers
tab.
Prerequisites
- IFS/Document Management must exist.
- A contract must exist.
- A tender document must exist.
System Effects
A tender document will be connected to the contract.

Procedure
- Open the
Sales Contract window or
Sales Contracts window and search for the Contract No to which the tender should be connected.
- Click Attachments.
Note: If you open the Attachments from the
Sales Contract/Customer
tab, and if any documents have been previously connected, they will be displayed.
- Create a new record.
- Enter a document class or select a value from the List of
Values. The description appears automatically.
- Enter a document number or select a value from the List of
values. The title appears automatically.
- Enter values in the Document Sheet and
Document Revision fields or select from the List of values.
- If necessary, enter an association category or
select a value from the List of Values.
- Close the dialog box. A message appears inquiring whether you
want to save.
- Click Save to connect the document.
