Set Up Costing Basic Data
The Set Up Costing Basic Data process handles the registration of Basic Data required
for Costing. Within this process, you can:
- optionally define your own Cost Sets.
- optionally define Cost Estimators, and assign them to either one or many parts.
- optionally define Kaizen Cost Reduction Types, and set Cost Parameters.
- optionally configure Multi-Site Costing Rules.
- optionally define your own Cost Elements.
- optionally define your own Cost Buckets.
- assign Cost Elements to Cost Buckets.
- optionally define Cost Templates.
- assign Cost Buckets to Cost Templates, or, if you prefer, copy Cost Buckets from Cost
Templates.
- optionally assign Cost Templates to Parts.
- optionally define Part Cost Groups, and assign them to Parts.
- optionally override the default Cost Templates for Part Cost Groups.
- optionally override the default Cost Templates for Cost Sets.
- optionally perform a Where Used Analysis for Cost Buckets.
- optionally perform a Where Used Analysis for Cost Elements.
