Define Object Types for Access Control

Explanation

This activity is used to specify the object types that will define access to documents. When these objects are connected to documents, the access given to the documents will depend on the access specified on the objects. The Enabled check box will be a way to enable or disable access through objects. When it is selected, objects of this type will control access. However, access levels should also be specified in the Document Basic/Default Object Access Levels tab in order to make this functionality active.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the object types to be defined should be document-aware.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the enabled objects can be used to define access for documents.
