System Effects
- If the Local Check-out Path field does not
have a value, the first time you check out a document you will be
prompted to select a check-out path for the document. The selected path value will then be
saved as the Local Check-out
Path field value.
- User settings are restricted to a user name and the computer
on which they are configured. If you move to another
computer, even though you log in with your usual user name, you may be working with
non-configured or different user settings. Reconfigure your user settings using
the procedure in this activity.
- If you access IFS/Document Management through a
server, e.g., Citrix or Terminal Services Client, you may log on to one of
many servers. The server you access may not have your user settings
configuration. Reconfigure your user settings using the procedure in this
activity.
- You can configure the settings so that files that
have been specified as read-only will be overwritten when viewing, printing
or mailing other
files with the same file title.
