Setting Document Title Requirements Options

Explanation

Use this activity to set document title requirements on the document title. These requirements apply to all document revisions created under this document title. The document requirements are:

• View Copy - Does this document revision require a view copy of the document file?
• Object Required - Does this document revision require that a business object is connected?
• Destroy - Does this document revision require the deletion of all revisions and copies?
• Safety Copy - Does this document revision require a safety copy?

Prerequisites

The document title must exist.

System Effects

A document revision that requires a view copy and/or an object connection cannot be released unless that view copy/object connection is added.

Procedure

1. Open the Document Titles or the Document Revision window. In the Document Revision window click the Title tab.
2. Query for the document title.
3. Modify the values in the View Copy, Object, Destroy and Safety Copy fields as needed.
4. Click Save.
