Define Allowed Demand Sites for Supply Site
Explanation
Use this activity to control which sites are allowed to perform supply chain reservations on your site.
Sites entered as demand sites can perform reservations on your site. The demand site reservations are performed from the
customer order lines and sourced lines that have the supply code Internal Purchase against your site. Only sites that are demand
sites can perform reservations on your site.
By not entering any demand sites at all you will disable the use of supply chain reservations on your site.
You can also decide the default supply chain reservation type that will be used for their demands against your site.
Prerequisites
- Sites that are entered in this activity should be entered as either internal suppliers (supply site) or internal customers (demand site).
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- Demand sites that can perform supply chain reservations on your site (supply site) are defined. All the other sites cannot perform supply chain reservations against your site.
