Define Customer Warranty Type Template

Explanation

The customer warranty type template is used to create predefined customer warranties for an object, for example, a rust-proof warranty. Warranty conditions must be defined and then connected to the warranty type template, which is then used when connecting warranty types to objects in IFS Applications. Several warranty conditions can be connected to a warranty type template.

The warranty type can be valid for the following cost types: Material, Fixed Price, Expenses, Personnel, and External. By default, all these check boxes are cleared for customer warranties, which means that the customer will not pay for these costs when the warranty is valid.

This template form has two tabs, one to connect warranty conditions and one to connect language-dependent document text, which can be used on the invoice, customer confirmation, or sales quotation.
