Explanation

Use this activity to specify:

• how many past periods from which to collect historical demand.
• how many future periods for which to create forecasts.
• the default forecast model and its parameters.
• the fields by which you want the parts to be grouped in the Demand Plan Client.

Procedure

1. Start the Demand Plan Server Setup Wizard and go through the steps. Remember that the wizard only creates one base flow. So if additional flows is wanted then this have to be done in the Demand Plan Server Setup dialog.
2. Adding of scheduling information have to be done in Demand Plan Server Setup/Scheduling dialog.

1. To make a new demand plan server, you must open Overview Demand Plan Server Setup and press the New button.
2. Fill out all mandatory fields.
3. Save the setup.
4. Open the new Forecast server id in the Demand Plan Server Setup dialog and add flows, period versions and scheduling information
