Select Pivot Display Items

Explanation

This activity is used to apply a combination of Measure, Light and Dimensions items in order to create a pivot for the report.

Prerequisites

Before creating a design using these elements make sure to have selected the required information sources from the Select Information Sources dialog box.

Procedure

1. Click Pivot.
2. Click Select Information Sources and choose a source.
3. Expand a folder from the Data Items pane.
4. Drag the required display items to Selected Display Items pane.

To remove a display item:

1. Select the display item from Selected Display Items pane.
2. Click Delete.  When you attempt to remove the last item from the Select Display Items pane a message appears indicating that this action will result in the pivot layout being deleted. Confirm to continue.
