Explanation
Use this activity to change the pricing definitions on a complex assembly
service contract after
negotiations with the customer or annual pricing escalations.
Prerequisites
- The complex assembly service contract header must be created.
- The Complex Assembly Service Contract/Labor Rates tab must contain sales rates.
- The Complex Assembly Service Contract/Cost Types tab must contain pricing
definitions.
- The Complex Assembly Service Contract/Structure Pricing tab must contain a
Special Price, Fixed Price and Caps Definition.
System Effects
As a result of this activity the new pricing definitions will be used when
the service contract is applied on a complex assembly work order.

Procedure
Use this procedure to create, update or remove the current labor rates, cost
types and the structure pricing of your complex assembly service contract.
- Open the Complex Assembly Service Contract window and query (F3) for your
agreement ID.
- Click the
Labor Rates tab. In this tab you can change the
values in the Sales Rate, Sales Currency, Payer fields.
- Save the record (F12). You can also add or remove a labor class definition
for the complex assembly service contract.
- Click the
Cost Types tab. In this tab you can change the
values in the Sales Value, Fee(%), Currency, Payer fields.
You can also add or remove a cost type definition for the complex assembly
service contract.
- Save the record (F12).
- Click the
Structure Pricing tab. In this tab you can change
the values in the following sub tabs or change the values in the Cost
Type, Maint Level, Currency, Payer fields.
