When you wish to enter only basic employment information for several new hires, this function offers a simpler and quicker alternative than the New Employee wizard and the Employee form.
Before registering an employee, please refer to the BDR (basic data requirements) for Employee Administration.
In order to have the employee number set automatically, the employee number series must be set up in the IFS/Enterprise component.
When an employee has been registered, you can use the employee in the whole application. There is no need to duplicate or transfer the employee to other components in the same database.
