Register Matching Profile
Explanation:
Use this function define profiles. A
Profile is useful when you need to define a specific requirement other than those
defined for a job. It consists of several section in the same way as the Job
specification is defined.
The available functions are:

Prerequisites
Before registering data for
a profile, the following basic data must have been defined:
- Job and Position Grade
- Competency Structure
- Education and Experience
- Characteristics
System Effects
As a result of this entry, you obtain a detailed overview of the
physical characteristics of all registered profiles within
the matching process.

Procedure
Register General Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Enter a name and description for the
profile.
- Enter the time range during which the
profiles will be valid. The system automatically suggests the current date as the default
Valid From date when you register a new profile identity, and the date 4001-01-01 as the
default Valid To date. You can change the dates manually.
- Select Save.
Register Personal Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Enter a name for the Profile. The profile
name automatically appears when you select an already registered Profile ID.
- Enter the Minimum and Maximum Age, Gender,
and Marital Status. Also indicate whether or not the profile has children.
- Select Save.
Register Physical Data, Register Personality Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Select a Physical or a Personality
Characteristic Name using the list box.
- Use the list box to select an operand of the
physical or personality
characteristic. The comparison operators depend on the
characteristic's measurement method.

- Enter a unit of measurement for the physical
or personality
characteristic. This field is filled in only when the characteristic's
measurement method is quantitative.
- Select Save.
Register Education Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Select an Education Criteria Name using the
list box.
- Use the list box to select a predefined
Education Level Name and an Education Field Name.
- Select Save.
Register License Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Use the list box to select a License Name.
The description is automatically displayed.
- Select Save.
Register Work Experience Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Use the list box to select an Industry Area
Name.
- Enter the number of years of experience
within the specified industry area.
- Select Save.
Register Employment Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Specify the number of years in service.
- Fill in the fields in the group boxes.
- Select Save.
Register Competencies Data:
- Use the Query function to view one or more
profiles. Select New to enter a new profile.
- Use the list box to select a predefined
value for the Competency Group Name and the Competency Element Name.
- The Element Description is automatically
displayed.
- Select Save.
