In some countries it is a legal requirement that the invoice number is dependent on in which geographical part (branch) of the country the invoice is created. Different parts of the country have different tax regulations.
Use this window to enter all branches that should be used within the application. The branches that you enter here will be available in the List of Values for the Branch column when you specify Number Series ID for an invoice type in the Customer Invoice Types/Combinations per Invoice Type window.
