Use this dialog box to create new serial objects from an equipment object in an Equipment Object Tree View on the Business Object Explorer. From here, you can place a serial object directly in the right place in the equipment structure, and also associate some object information with the created object. However, you can only create serial objects under other serial objects, or functional objects with certain defined object levels that allow underlying serials. You can reach this dialog by right-clicking on an equipment object in IFS/Navigator and clicking Create Serial Object.
