Define Object Positions

Explanation

Use this activity to define a valid object position for an object type during establishment or reestablishment instructions. A Position is used when defining Isolations and creating Work Clearances to indicate if e.g., the equipment should be 'On' or 'Off' during establishment or reestablishment, or if it should be in a Reduced speed mode, etc.

Prerequisites

An object type must have been created in Equipment Basic Data.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, valid positions for equipment objects of the current object type are created during establishment or reestablishment instructions. Then, when you create an isolation or a work clearance you should enter appropriate object positions.
