Create Transaction Row

Explanation

Use this activity to create a transaction row in a row template. A transaction row is used for printing the voucher rows, i.e., transactions, that has generated the presented balance. The transaction rows are printed in the end of the report.

The General tab is used to define the data row for which the transactions in general ledger are printed. The user can also define if a total is printed for a group of transactions and if the row is visible or hidden in the report. The Layout tab is used for specifying other information that is not retrieved from the database, e.g., the font style and row indentation.

Prerequisites

Before creating a transaction row you must have created, copied, or imported a row template. The row template must contain a data row.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a transaction row is added to the row template. Before generating the report a data column in the column template must be marked as Transaction Row. For an existing report template the information in Report Template, the Transaction tab, can be modified.
