Object Group
Usage
Use this window to enter, change, or display details for an object group. The following are linked to each object group: an acquisition account, base values, books, and depreciation methods. Grouping the objects facilitates entry of basic data for each object. A number of default values are presented when entering information on objects. It is recommended to create an object group for objects that will be depreciated according to the same books and depreciation methods. Object groups are also used in posting control as default values and as a selection term when a depreciation proposal is initiated. There is a possibility to update all existing objects belonging to the object group, with changes, for example when a base value is added or when a depreciation method is added to the object group.
