Messages may be distributed as results of events. Personal Messages can be sent to individual Foundation1 Users and can be viewed in the Personal Messages window in any IFS Applications executable. Personal Messages can also be viewed, for example, in a personal portlet.
Personal Messages can be viewed at any time until deleted. Once a message has been identified as "Read", it will be removed by the Foundation1 Heavy Cleanup Job. The Configuration/Parameters setting "Cleanup age limit in days for read personal messages" controls the lifetime of a read message.
