Using the Search Feature

You can use this feature to search through the online documentation and IFS eLearning (if it has been installed), to locate a specific topic that you want. By using the list, you can limit the search to specific document types.

1. Enter the word or term you are looking for in the Search field. 
2. Select a specific section from the list.

• All - Searches all the documents and models, both in the IFS Online Documentation and IFS eLearning.
• Process Models - Searches only the process models.
• Topic Desc - Searches only the topic descriptions (also called about description), i.e., the descriptions that are found in the Topics in IFS Applications navigator.
• Window Desc - Searches only the window descriptions. 
• Activity Desc - Searches only the activity descriptions. 
• eLearning - Searches only the pages in IFS eLearning.

3. Click (Find).
   All the files matching your search criteria will be displayed in a list. The list is sorted by rank, but can be re-sorted by name.
4. Click on a link to access the related material.
