Plan Safety Inspection

Explanation

This activity is used to plan a safety inspection by defining the general information. A safety inspection is always linked to a specific location in the company.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity;

• Inspection types are required to be already defined in the Safety Inspection Basic Data/Safety Inspection Type window.
• Inspection templates are required to be already defined in the Safety Inspection Basic Data/Safety Inspection Template window.
• Persons are required to be already defined in the Person window.

Procedure

1. Open the Safety Inspection window and create a new record.
2. Enter an identifier for the safety inspection in the Safety Inspection No field.
3. Enter the type of inspection in the Safety Inspection Type field. Select a value using the list. Note that FIRE and HAZARD are system defined types.
4. The inspection templates connected to the inspection type in the Safety Inspection Basic Data window will be listed for the Safety Inspection Template field. Select a template using the list.
5. You can also enter the organization and location details for the safety inspection in the relevant fields.
6. You can enter the site manager in the Site Manager field. Select a person from the list.
7. You can add comments in the Remark field.
8. Save the information. The status of the safety inspection will be Planned. Also note that the safety inspection questions defined for the template will show in the Safety Inspection Questions table.
