Use this tab to enter general part planning data. This data is used by the material requirements planning (MRP) process and also in order proposal calculations in IFS/Inventory. You must enter a planning method and other planning related information for each inventory part.
It is important to note that due to the two types of inventories (project inventory and standard inventory), for example, the availability checks, will only be performed on the inventory against which the demand was entered.
It is also important to note that when the inventory part planning parameters are set, it causes master scheduling to execute very slowly.
