Set Instruction Revision to Obsolete

Explanation

This activity is used to set the instruction revision to the Obsolete status. If the instruction revision is no longer valid and should not be used, this revision must be set obsolete.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, the instruction revision must be in the Active status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the instruction revision is set to the Obsolete status and the instruction will be removed from all places in which it is currently used.

Procedure

1. Open the Instruction window.
2. Populate (F2) or Query (F3) for the desired instruction.
3. Right-click, point to Status, and then click Set Obsolete.
4. A message appears requiring confirmation of the step, click OK to continue.
