Confirm Inventory Part Availability Exceptions

Explanation

This activity is used to confirm a generated exception message. Once you have acted upon an exception message, the message can be confirmed. (The messages that have not been handled can be retrieved by searching for them). Therefore, the confirm feature can also be used to tick off messages that have been handled.

Prerequisites

• Inventory parts must exist.
• Exception messages must have been generated.

System Effects

The Inventory Part Availability Exceptions window will be updated as follows:

• The Confirmed check box will be selected.
• A value in the Date Confirmed field will be displayed.
• A value in the Confirmed By User ID field will be displayed.
