Copy Rows and Tiers from Bay

Explanation

This activity is used when the warehouse structure and attributes of rows and tiers on a bay can be reused on other bay(s). This is beneficial when you want to use the same warehouse structure on different bays. You can use one bay as a template for creating the structure on other bays.

Prerequisites

• The destination bay must be entered.
• The bay with warehouse structure to copy from must be entered.

System Effects

Rows and tiers from the selected bay will be copied to the destination bay. Only the objects that do not exist on destination location are created. Locations created get location numbers equal to the location sequence number.

Procedure

1. Open the Warehouse Navigator window and populate or search for the relevant site.
2. The graphical structure of the warehouse will be displayed in the left side of the window.
3. Select the warehouse node which contains the destination bay(s) to which the rows and tiers need to be copied.
4. Click the Bays tab. Select the destination bay(s) and then right-click and then click Copy Rows and Tiers from Bay.
5. The Copy Rows and Tiers from Bay dialog box will be opened.
6. Enter the bays from which you need to copy the rows and tiers or select from the List of Values.
7. Click OK.
