Explanation

This activity is used to import inventory part daily issues from external applications. These daily issues will then be considered when performing deviation analysis and classification job for inventory parts

Prerequisites

Inventory part daily issues need to be entered in the import tables.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, when the inventory part daily issues have been imported these daily issues will have an effect on the deviation analysis and classification jobs for inventory part.

Procedure

You can import inventory part daily issues either by direct execution (Procedure A) or by scheduling a task to run as a background job (Procedure B).

Procedure A:

1. Open the Import Inventory Part Daily Issues dialog box.
2. Use the existing site in the Site field or enter the required site. Click List to select a site from the List of Values.    
3. If the necessary selection criteria had been defined, click OK to complete the operation.

Note: Click Default if you want to use the default settings.

Procedure B:

1. Click Schedule to open the New Database Task Schedule window. Set the scheduling parameters as desired and save. Scheduled tasks can be seen in Scheduled Database Tasks window.
