Release Material Requisition

Explanation

This activity is used to release a material requisition in Planned status to Released status. When the requisition has been released, it is handled as a demand and requisition lines are available for reservation.

Note: When a material requisition is entered and saved, by default, it will be in the Released status.

Prerequisites

A material requisition with Planned status must exist.

System Effects

The material requisition will be released.

Procedure

1. Open the Material Requisition window and populate or query for the appropriate material requisition.
2. Right-click on the header and then click Release.
