Add Individual to Rotable Pool

Explanation

This activity is used when you want to add inventory part individuals to a company- or customer-owned rotable part pool. Alternate inventory parts individuals of the primary part number, defined in the header section of the Rotable Part Pool window, can also be added.

Prerequisites

• The value in the Pool Diff Qty field must be greater than zero (0).
• The primary part number defined in the header section of the Rotable Part Pool window must exist as an inventory part at the sites selected on the Sites tab in the Rotable Part Pool window.
• The inventory parts must be in stock.
• Parts must be present in standard inventory (Parts in project inventory cannot be added as individuals to a rotable pool).

System Effects

As a result of this activity, one or many individuals will be added to the rotable part pool.

Procedure

1. On the Serials tab in the Rotable Part Pool window, right-click and then click Add Individual. The Add Individuals to Rotable Pool window opens.
2. Select the Add Individual check box to select a specific individual.
3. If the value in the Pool Diff Qty field is greater than 1, you can add more than one individual to the rotable part pool. If appropriate, repeat step 1.
4. Click OK to add the selected individuals to the rotable part pool.
