Enter Default Availability Control ID for Rotable Pool

Explanation

Use this activity to define a default availability control ID to be used for rotable part pools. All individuals connected to any rotable pool will also automatically be connected to this availability control ID.

• An availability control ID is entered, with mandatory parameter settings, to be used for rotable part pools.

Procedure

1. Open the Inventory Basic Data window.
2. Click on the Part Availability Controls tab, select New.
3. In the Availability Control ID field, enter an appropriate ID of no more than 25 alphanumeric characters.
4. Enter a description in the corresponding column.
5. Select Not Nettable in the Part Supply Control field.
6. Select Not Auto Reservation in the Part Auto Reservation Control field.
7. Select Not Manual Reservation in the Part Manual Reservation Control field.
8. Select Not Order Issue in the Part Order Issue Control field.
9. Select Not Non-Order Issue in the Part Non-order Issue Control field.
10. Select Not Scrappable in the Part Scrap Control field.
11. Select Not Allow Reducing in the Part Counting Control field.
12. Save the changes.
