Remove Individual from FA Pool
Explanation
Use this activity when you want to temporarily
remove an individual from a fixed asset rotable part pool back and return it to stock. The
intention is that the removed individual should be replaced. The fixed asset
object is not affected by this function.
Prerequisites
- At least one FA object with an Active status must
exist.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the selected individual
will be removed from the rotable part pool and returned to stock with an inventory
value zero (0). Once back in stock, the individual will be connected to the entered
part availability control ID.

Procedure
- In the FA Objects tab, select the line
for the individual to be temporarily removed from the fixed asset rotable
part pool. Right-click and click Remove Individual to open the
Remove
Individual window.
- Enter a new part availability control ID. You can
also use the List of Values to select an availability control ID. If you do
not want the individual to be connected to an availability control ID,
leave this part of the window empty.
- Click OK to remove the selected individual from the
fixed asset rotable part pool and return it to stock.
