All EU members must report exported and imported parts to and from other EU countries every month. The authorities use the information for their statistics follow-up. To be able to create this report, the correct information must be selected from the system once a month.
It is possible to print a summarized report, either to a file or on paper. Note that the paper report is a simple report that should be used either to verify the data printed in the file or serve as a basis for filling in the official report. When transfering the Intrastat report to file, you can choose to include only the import data, only the export data, or both import and export data in the file.
The Intrastat detail data summary varies between EU member countries. Therefore, what should be included in the report has to be specified separately for each country.
An Intrastat report file is created, and the corresponding report type check box is selected on the Intrastat form.
