Unschedule Resource Breaks

Explanation

Use this activity to unschedule a Scheduled resource break. The status of the break changes to Unscheduled. A resource break in Unscheduled state has no effect on the shop order schedule. Resource breaks are taken into account only when the orders are scheduled using Constraint Based Scheduling (CBS), not when using the Shop Order Infinite Scheduler.

Prerequisites

A resource break in Scheduled state must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity,

• the status of the resource break changes from Scheduled to Unscheduled, causing it to be removed from the shop schedule.
• the capacity which was booked by the resource break becomes available for scheduling other objects through the APB or CBS.

Procedure

1. Populate the window.
2. Select the resource break(s) you want to unschedule.
3. Right-click and then click Unschedule. The status of the selected break(s) changes to Unscheduled.
