Procedure
- Open the Site window and click the Manufacturing
tab. Query for the site.
- In Calendar Consideration field, you choose how you want the
system to calculate reported time intervals that falls outside the calendar.
(If IFS Human Resources is installed, the ideal option to use is
Include Calendar Time and Overtime).
- In Reporting Mode field you choose whether the reported labor time
should be registered on employees or anonymously.
- If you want the system to automatically trigger the Enter As
dialog box, after Shop Floor Workbench window has been left
idle for some time, select the
Auto Trigger Enter As Dialog check box and enter the number of seconds
when the dialog should be triggered in Time Idle field.
- If you select the Authorization Required check box, it indicates
that manufacturing transactions can be authorized. If the site requires
authorization, then in order to transfer the transactions to finance the
transactions should be authorized.
- If you select the Override Employee Cost check box, it indicates that the labor cost for the transaction will be fetched from the labor class on the shop order operation, for the reported time type (i.e., setup or run). If this checkbox is not selected, the cost will be fetched either from HR or from the labor class that the employee belongs to.
- If you select the Default Time and Quantities on Report check box
in Site/Extended Site Info/Manufacturing tab, the system will suggest the
quantity and time to be reported when approving shop order operations in
Shop Floor Workbench. If this check box is not selected, the quantity and
time to be reported has to be entered manually.
- Save your changes.
- Open the Work Center window and query for the relevant
work center.
- If you want to allow multiple operations to be run on the same work
center resource simultaneously, make sure the Allow Concurrent Operations
check box is selected.

the last labor clocking on the operation is automatically stopped,
select the Auto Stop Machine Clocking check box.
