View Kanban Calculation/Simulation Results

Explanation

Use this activity to evaluate an updated Kanban simulation or other calculation for a Kanban circuit. After running the calculation, you can view the results in either the Kanban Circuitswindow or the Recalculation tab of the Kanban Circuit window. You can also run a Kanban Planning Master report to see a summary of the change recommendations. The results of this report help you determine how to adjust the updated Kanban quantities for the circuit before you accept the changes for implementation on the shop floor.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that Kanban calculations be executed for a circuit.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system displays any recommended changes between the current and recalculated Kanban quantities for your analysis.

Procedure

1. Run the Kanban simulations or other calculations for the circuits for which you are responsible.
2. View the updated values in theKanban Circuitswindow or the Recalculation tab of the Kanban Circuit window.
3. If you want to run a report, enter the appropriate information In the Kanban Planning Master Report window, and click OK.
4. Click OK to run the report.
