Print Outside Operation Pick List

Explanation

Use this activity to print a pick list for material linked to an outside operation. The pick list shows what is to be manufactured and in what quantity. In some cases, material can be sent to the supplier; this is also printed on the pick list. One pick list is printed for each outside operation on a shop order, even if a supplier performs more than one operation. If the outside operation is the first operation, the pick list contains information about all reserved material that is not linked to any operations, unless this information is already printed on another pick list. The pick list also contains information about the material linked to the outside operation.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that material must be reserved.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the system prints a pick list for material linked to the outside operation. The information printed on the pick list cannot be printed on any other pick list.
