Checks
Explanation
Use this activity to view calculated due dates for post maintenance tasks (PMCs).
You can also use this activity to adjust the execution time of the background
job (For more information, refer the online help file: Activity
Using Background Jobs). At installation, the server process for due
calculations for PMCs is set (by default) to execute each day at 8:00 P.M. The
background job can also be executed manually for a specific post maintenance
check.
Prerequisites
- A modification or a fault must exist and have configured PMCs.
- The modification or fault must be completed.
System Effects
- One or more PMC tasks are created after the modification has been complied
with or after the fault has been repaired in accordance with the values set
on the post maintenance check.
- A pending task is created if the due date is within the forewarning limit.
