Define Interchangeability Codes
Explanation
Use this activity to define interchangeability codes which are used when
defining position alternates and template alternates against the template
structures. For each interchangeability code, a rule must be selected in order
to define what is to be performed. There are five predefined interchangeability
rules. Note: There can only be one interchangeability code per rule.
Interchangeability rules are used when a part or a serial is installed in a
serial structure.

System Effects
- Template and position alternates can be defined for a template structure.
The interchangeability code is required to define when an alternate(s) is to
be defined for a template.
- When structure changes are performed on a serial, the defined
interchangeability rules for the template will be used to validate if the
structure changes are valid.
