Add, Copy or Reset MS Level 0 Forecast Sets

Explanation

Use this activity to combine two or more level 0 forecasts into one. You also can use this activity to copy a level 0 forecast from one master schedule set to another, but you can copy from only one set at a time. In addition, you can use this activity to restore the level 0 forecast of one or more master schedule sets. This activity is useful if you want to refresh the forecasts in a specific master schedule set, i.e., start over from the beginning.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that you must select more than one master schedule set in order to combine forecasts. The master schedule sets must be registered.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, when you combine forecasts into a forecast set, the values from the selected master schedule sets are combined into one. If the target set contains forecast values, these values are included. When you copy from one forecast set to another, all forecast information in the target set is deleted before the forecast is copied. Resetting a forecast set means that the value of the selected forecast(s) is set to 0 (zero).
