Aggregate Level 1 to Level 0

Explanation

Use this activity to aggregate item production plans. The aggregation uses both the option forecast as well as the item forecast.
This activity will also perform level 0 calculation. Forecast requirements are calculated and action results are performed. Information such as forecast and time limits are transferred to level 1.

Note: A re-disaggregation of an aggregated family production plan to the item level will result in over planning at the item level.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that there be both an option and an item forecast registered. MS level 1 calculation should be performed first before aggregation process otherwise the result in family level could be incorrect.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the item production plans are aggregated into a family production plan and MS Level 0 calculation is performed.
