This activity is used to define a Proper Shipping Name for  dangerous goods. The Proper Shipping Name ID you define here will be used in the Part Dangerous Goods Classification tab.

Dangerous Goods Classification Basic Data Proper Shipping Name Procedure/

1. Open the Dangerous Goods Classification Basic Data window and click the Proper Shipping Name tab.
2. Create a new record.
3. Enter the identity of the Proper Shipping Name in the Proper Shipping Name ID field.
4. Enter the description in the Proper Shipping Name field.
5. In the UN No field enter the relevant number. For one UN number there can be more than one proper shipping name.
6. If the substances that make the product a dangerous good are not specified, specify by selecting the N.O.S check box.
7. Save.
