Add Position on Map

Explanation

Use this activity to create a position object for a business object.

Prerequisites

Map Positions should be added to the Service List for the business object type which is being defined on the Object Connections window.

System Effects

A position object will be created and connected to the required business object at the geographical position specified on the map.

Procedure

1. Open a detail or an overview window for a business object and query for the required business object.
2. On the Attachments Panel click Map Positions.
3. Right click on the table and click Add Position. Enter the longitude and latitude of the business object. Alternatively if you are looking at the map view click Add Position at the required position on the map.
4. Right click and click Save Changes.
