Register Authority Levels
Explanation
An Authority Level is defined as the level parameters for authorization rights. The
Authority Levels can be ranked with numerical values. The higher the values, the more
authority rights are granted to a position.
Authority Levels are predefined in the system. The codes are connected to different
values in order for the system to rank the authority level for the attributes and
positions.
System Effects
As a result of this entry, the authority hierarchy is defined and the authority value
is used by the system to define the structure of the authorities.

Procedure
- Select New to enter a new attribute or select Populate to view already registered
attributes.
- Enter a name for the attribute.
- Use the listbox to set a value for a predefined attribute code. The values predefined by
the system are: Time & Attendance authorization level, Access to transferred results,
and Travel Expense authorization level.
- In the Value column, enter an optional value for the selected Attribute Code. The higher
a value is, the more authority rights it has. For example, if you have defined four
authority levels, these levels could be ranked as follows: Level 1 Value 40, Level 2
Value 30, Level 3 Value 20, and Level 4 Value 10.
- Select Save.
