View Employees Assigned to Organizations

Explanation

This activity is used to view the list of employees that belong to organizations in the company. Employees are connected to organization codes through the position assignment. Position codes in the company belong to organizations. Therefore, the employees belong to the organization of the assigned primary position.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, employees are required to be assigned to positions as shown in the Position Assignments window. The same information is available in Employee/Employment/Assignments/Positions tab for individual employees.

Procedure

To view employees belonging to a single organization;

1. Open the Graphical Organization Structure window.
2. Select an organization code in the navigator.
3. On the right pane of the window, go to the Assigned Employees tab. Note that the employees belonging to the organization are listed.

To view employees belonging to all organization codes in one selected tree structure;

1. In the Graphical Organization Structure window, select an organization code in the navigator as you did in the previous procedure.
2. Now go to the Assigned All Employees tab. Note that the employees belonging to the selected organization as well as all organizations below that level.
